-- 2008 Harrisburg Mini-Competition--
The Annual Eastern Sports & Outdoor Show will be held at the
Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg, PA from
February 2, 2008 - February 10, 2008
 
     This year's show will again be held on the main floor in the N.W. Hall. The show producers — Reed Exposition Group — have been very generous in providing the PTA with space and tables, so let's take advantage of it. I'm sure you can see we have a golden opportunity to promote quality taxidermy and the PTA as well. For those of you who enter, it's an opportunity to showcase your best work to many thousands of people each day.
     This mini-competition will be open to ALL categories and divisions - including Best All Around Professional Taxidermist. The Best-Of-Show piece will receive $200.00 and we are currently working on some other special awards as well.
     Entries will be accepted for competition Thursday, January 31, 2008 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Friday, February 1, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon. All entries must remain at the show for the duration of the show. Mounts will be released at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 10, 2008. Critiquing will be held Sunday, February 10, 2008 starting at 12 noon. After the judging is complete you will be allowed to place a standard business card with each entry.       Pre-registration is encouraged and will be rewarded with a drawing. One lucky person who pre-registers for this competition will win a FREE State Show Convention Registration ($60 value). All entries postmarked by January 25, 2008 will be entered into the drawing. Walk-in entries will be accepted.

Entrys must be postmarked by January 25, 2008. All entrants must be members in good standing of the PTA. Use one competition Entry form for each competitor. (If you are registering competition pieces for family members, friends, etc., use separate competition entry forms for each person.) Make additional copies of this entry form as needed.
