Competition Rules for all PTA Competitions
IMPORANT NOTE: This is a general listing of the competition rules. Chnages may have been made that are not included in the following.
~ Updated Rules as of September 2007 ~
Participation in any PTA Competition gives permission to the PTA, photographer, and its affiliates the rights to photograph and use photos of your competition entries in future and all publications.

Categories

        Taxidermy
  1. Whitetail Deer Head - (includes 1/2 life size)
  2. Large Miscellaneous Game Head - (includes 1/2 life size larger than a coyote)
  3. Small Miscellaneous Game Head - (includes 1/2 life size, coyote and smaller)
  4. Large Life-Size Mammal - (larger than a Coyote sized animal)
  5. Small Life-Size Mammal - (Coyote size and smaller)
  6. Birds (all birds except waterfowl and turkey)
  7. Waterfowl (includes Coots, Rails, Gallinules, etc.)
  8. Turkey
  9. Fish Skin Warm Water - finished on one side (see rules)
  10. Fish Skin Cold Water - Finished on one side (see rules)
  11. Fish Skin Warm Water 360o - must be finished on both sides
  12. Fish Skin Cold Water 360o - must be finished on both sides
  13. Fish Repro - must be finished on both sides (see rules)
  14. Reptile & Reptile Skin
  15. Reptile & Reptile Repro (see rules)
  16. Freeze-Dry (see rules)
  17. Habitat - no Best of Category will be awarded for these entries (in order to receive a habitat ribbon the mounted specimen must receive a ribbon)
  18. Miscellaneous - anything that doesn't fit in the above categories
  19. Commercial Category (see rules)
    Wildlife Art
  20. Miniatures - medium can be clay, soap, wax, horn, or a finished product in bronze or ceramic (see rules)
  21. Flat original Wildlife Art (see rules)
  22. 3-D original Wildlife Art - (any original wildlife artwork will be accepted; ex: woodcarving, taxidermy manikins [clay model or finished makikin], recreations, etc.) (see rules)
  23. Photography (see rules)
